Horse Shoe Mountain Resort — Hotel in Lisangkhu Pakhar

I recently stayed at this resort, and I must say, the location was absolutely breathtaking. The views were stunning, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. However, I was disappointed with the overall condition of the rooms. They were not well-maintained, and it was evident that some renovations were overdue.

Another downside was the shortage of staff. It seemed that there weren't enough employees to cater to the needs of all the guests. This impacted the overall service quality, and at times, it was challenging to get assistance promptly.

Furthermore, the property itself was not properly maintained. There were signs of neglect in various areas, which was a shame considering the potential this place had.

On a positive note, the security guard was helpful, and we appreciated his assistance during our stay. Despite the shortcomings, we were thankful to have a place to sleep on that rainy night. Although this place has a fantastic view when the weather is clear, it is overpriced for the amenities and service. You will be better served by driving the extra hour to Charikot to find accommodation. During my stay they didn't provide our rooms with running water for more than a few minutes and when it did come it was barely a trickle. The rooms were shabby, but relatively clean. The food was okay, but the staff seemed to feel like having guests was a burden. They were nice enough to start a fire which was needed on the cold night we stayed there. To our surprise we enjoyed staying at this place. Being in a remote location there were hardly any guests. But the hospitality of the staffs were amazing. The hotel rooms are just okay with minimum requirements. The hotel ambience gives a very sherpa feel. The resort is run by few staffs who literally do everytjing cleaning to cooking.
