Hotel Lumbini Heritage — Hotel in Lumbini Sanskritik

Before going to hotel, we called them and told them that today we would check in as we booked a room in their hotel 2 months ago and also already paid. But then, they tell me that they are fully booked and they dont have any room for us. Even though we booked two months ago and already paid the full amount. After getting angry at them, then they say, they will arrange a room for us. When we go there to check in, the reception said the same thing that they are fully booked and they cannot give us any room. They agreed that they see our booking in their system but they told me that they forgot to wrote our booking down and gave our room to someone else. It was awful. And then when I told them that I would call police on them for cheating on us, they give us a room. And then next day, one of their staff came to me apologizing for this and told us that they would give us complimentary dinner and when we were checking out they brought us a bill for the dinner!!!! And the staff was super rude to us. Never saw such a bad service. Another thing: we asked them about breakfast one night before as we had to leave next morning somewhere early. they said that there will be a buffet starting from 6 to 9.30. we told them specifically that we would come down at 8 as we have to leave at 8.30. when we came down they tell us that there is no buffet and then we found that they were lying to us. there was buffet but it was finished earlier as there was a big group and they did not feel the need to renew it just for two of us even though we were on time and told them one day before!! Very bad service. Literally gave us headaches!! ||I would highly recommend "Buddha Maya Gardens Resort, Lumbini Hotel" instead of this hotel. Wonderful staff mainly the front desk person. The restaurant staff were welcoming but big issues with the rooms .

In regards to the hotel and our one day stay. I regret to write the room was horrible to what I paid for , I wouldn’t even give one star .Please read below carefully.

My grandmother wasn’t able to sleep as she saw a mouse running around our beds, to keep it away she had to leave the lights on to,bless her she wasn’t able to sleep the whole night.I have informed the reception in the morning today.

2.Our bathroom main door wasn’t working. As it was just our family sharing room we had no issues but really.

The duvet had no covers on them , they are using bedsheets on both the sides , making it like a cover - which made it very uncomfortable for me to use the duvet. I had never seen any hotels using two sheets as duvet cover. Also one of our sheet had hole on them , as the mouse had chewed on it. I feel it’s not appropriate to click picture , they can check themselves today.

The Bathroom was not clean , the shampoo and body wash all containers were all empty, we had our own so we could use ours

I would highly request the staff to look into these points. Staff are very friendly and a beautiful hotel.I really liked the staff and the service overall but I had issues with the room. I will definitely stay again in future after improvements are made. I hope to read good...
