Me and my boyfriend came here because we wanted to go somewhere a bit quieter outside of Pokhara and this place had amazing reviews - and it did not disappoint! From the moment we arrived we felt at home. We can both say this was our favourite stay in the whole 5 months of travelling. The rooms were spacious and clean, the food was AMAZING (thank you Santa!!) and both Krishna and Santa were a bundle of joy to be around, they gave us tips, showed us around and we are going to miss the both of them very much. Oh, and the views of the mountains from the rooftop were simply incredible, it looked like a painting. I couldn’t recommend this place enough, and would go back in a heartbeat on my return to Nepal. With it being only a 40 minute taxi or bus away from Pokhara, this really isn’t a place to miss. It’s such a hidden gem and has made our whole time in Nepal amazing. Whether you just want to relax for a few days, or go trekking (there are lots of trekking options), then this is the place!

Simply incredible ❤️ To stay with Santa and Krishna in their family owned guesthouse will completely fill your heart and soul to the brim. Their hospitality is exceptional. The views from the rooftop terrace are amazing. The rooms are clean and feel like home away from home. The food from Santa’s kitchen is just divine and the trekking knowledge that Krishna holds with his 30+ years as a mountain guide is exceptional. You can see the whole family work together with son Meelan helping out as well as the surrounding family in the village. The place is filled with love. We come back to Hyangjakot every year just to stay with this beautiful family. You will absolutely love it! It’s also a great spot to set up for a few days or even longer and explore the surrounding trekking routes. With a hand on my heart I can say that Mone’s is one of the best guesthouse experiences in the Himalayas. And we’ve been coming to Nepal for almost 20 years..

If you are in Dhital/Dhampus, you MUST come and stay at Mone’s Mountain View hotel. We stayed for four days and it was one of the best experiences ever.. everything was wonderful, from the cosy rooms and comfortable beds to the delicious food. Everything is organic and fresh! The views are fantastic.. it almost looks like a painting! Krishna and Shanta treated us like their family. They are very kind and helpful. Shanta is always smiling and makes the BEST Gurung bread in the world! We ate that and fried Momos along with chutney (salsa) daily! Even the thali (dal bhat), chowmien and noodle soup (thupa) were our top choices. Kitchen is spotless and bathrooms are also good. Everyone we met who stayed here had a great experience! The pictures of the fabulous views and from our room’s window and hotel rooftop. Do visit once, you will not regret it!

A Tranquil Stay with Stunning Mountain Views

My recent stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. Tucked away in a peaceful location, the property offers breathtaking mountain views that immediately soothe the soul. Whether from the balcony of my room or the open-air terrace, the scenery was simply unforgettable—rolling peaks, lush greenery, and skies that seemed to stretch endlessly.

The room was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and designed for comfort. I especially appreciated the large windows that allowed natural light to flood in and provided a constant connection to the beautiful landscape outside. Every morning, I woke to the sight of mist gently rising off the mountains—a view worth waking up early for.

Service was outstanding. The staff were courteous, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. They offered great recommendations for local hikes and sightseeing spots, and made sure every aspect of my stay was smooth and enjoyable.

The on-site dining options were also a highlight. Meals were delicious, with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, and the chance to dine with a panoramic mountain backdrop made each experience feel special.

This hotel is perfect for anyone looking to relax, reconnect with nature, and enjoy a touch of luxury. I left feeling recharged and already looking forward to...
