⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had the pleasure of staying at Baseri Farmstay and Retreat, and it was a truly remarkable experience. Nestled near the historic Dapcha Bajar and the tranquil Namobuddha Monastery, the location is simply enchanting. The natural beauty surrounding the farmstay creates a perfect setting for relaxation and reflection. Our dear brother Anup Pathak, the owner, is an exceptionally friendly and hospitable person. His warm and welcoming nature, coupled with excellent service, made our stay incredibly comfortable. Anup's dedication to his guests' well-being is evident in every aspect of the farmstay. From Baseri Farmstay, we enjoyed scenic hikes to the renowned Tindhare Jharana and the serene Roshi River. These trails offer breathtaking views and a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature. The culinary experience was another highlight of our visit. We savored organic Nepali dishes such as Dhido, Bhuteko Makai, and Roti, all prepared with fresh, local ingredients. Each meal was a delightful journey into the rich flavors of Nepal. Baseri Farmstay and Retreat is a hidden gem that combines natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and genuine hospitality. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable stay in Nepal. I look forward to returning! ---

I came looking for a place to breathe in nature and find a quiet spot to bask in the sun, read and write. What I found was a tranquil and serene experience with a view that I will be sure to come back to. The farm is lovely with over 50 different types of fruits, vegetables and flowers growing in it. In the morning, you're woken up by the sound of a multitude of birds--red, orange, blue (including the resident rooster and chickens). If you want to walk around , you can stroll around trees, hills, or get to Dapcha itself (being less than an hour away) if you want to explore the town. I also probably ate more than 3 times I usually do at home on account of the food being so fresh and delicious. Also, the Mutton curry made by Priyanka didi and Anup dai was perhaps the best I've had. Drinking the herbal tea every morning was also a treat and if given the option of any beverage to have each morning--I would probably choose that in my daily life outside as well. If you want to learn more about the farm/farming, the ecology, and the village of Baseri in general, this place is a gem that I hope will continue to thrive and grow. I am looking forward to my next visit.

It’s really an Heaven on earth. Beautiful view from the homestay which is on the Mountainside in a small village with No close road, just you and the sounds of the nature. It’s the perfect place to relax. The rooms are very comfortable. Anup and his wife are so nice and will go the extra mile for you and always with a smile. You can really feel that anup started the farm from a true love to Nepal, his childhood village and to the idea of sustainability and this is truly inspiring. I even did a tour with anup the day before and it was super authentic and fun! I went to the waterfall which are walking distance from the farm and they are beautiful and happily I was the only one there! The floods that happened last month are still affecting the area so now it’s more important than ever to come and stay and in that way to support and help the village. I’ll try to comeback soon even in this trip! It was once in a lifetime experience for me.

"OMG! What an absolutely incredible experience! My wife and I just got back from a 3-day stay at this eco lodge, and we are still floating on cloud nine! From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in tranquility. The eco lodge is nestled in the most breathtaking location – seriously, the views were out of this world! Every morning, we woke up to panoramic vistas that just took our breath away. I mean, photos don't even do it justice!

But it wasn't just the scenery; the lodge itself was simply divine. Talk about relaxation! We spent our days unwinding, reconnecting with nature, and just enjoying each other's company. We took advantage of the hiking trails around the lodge, and every step was a new adventure. We even saw some amazing wildlife!

And the staff! They were so friendly, attentive, and passionate about the eco lodge and its mission. They made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was also incredible – fresh, local, and absolutely delicious. Every meal was a culinary delight!

Honestly, this eco lodge is a little slice of paradise. If you're looking for a place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, reconnect with nature, and spend quality time with your loved one, look no further. This place is pure magic, and we can't wait to go...
