Hotel Pahuna Ghar — Hotel in Nepalgunj-01

If you need to stay at Manthali, Ramechhap, I suggest you this hotel. This is a new hotel started in July 2018 (the owner told me, in Nepali calendar, Ashaj 2075 BS). The rooms are clean and the owner and his wife can speak good English.|| I stayed at this hotel twice: November 2018 and Feb. 2019. In November, I stayed at a room with AC and attached bath in the 2nd floor. In February, I could not have a room in the 2nd floor and got a simple room in the 1st floor with shared bath. In November, this hotel does not have any hot shower facilities, but was preparing to set up a solar panel for hot shower. I saw the panel installation on the roof top while I put my laundry there. In February, the owner told me that all the 6 rooms in the 2nd floor already have hot showers (although I myself could not check it). || Room charge is 2,500 NRS for the room with AC in the 2nd floor (3 such rooms), and 800 NRS for the rooms in the 1st floor with shared bath.|| A problem I found in February was that in the shared bath in the 1st floor, there were virtually no hooks. That is, there were virtually no places to put your clothes while taking a bath. || The owner previously worked for a freign project in the district, and it seems that the project-related customers often reserve the AC rooms in the 2nd floor. So if you want to have a hot shower and AC, make a phone call before you go to Manthali to reserve a room. || If you ask a people in the bazzare about a good lodge, they may recommend you an old famous hotel. I saw that hotel and still prefer Hotel...
