Hotel mount view ngawal — Hotel in Neshyang

I was in Ngawal six years ago in another (nice) hotel. But this one is much nicer. The food was excellent, the hosts very nice people, the dining room is very comfortable and beautiful, well heated with superb views of the mountains. The rooms are small like in every hotel of my trek because it's supposed to be like this on high altitude where it's cold, in order to keep the warmth ! So I don't understand people who feel "in a cell", especially since the rooms have also good views of the mountains. An excellent stay that I heartily...

Our guide had booked this place in advance for us, but after arriving at the room, we decided we didn't want to stay. It was small and dark, and gave the vibe of a jail cell. Even though we were there for only 10 minutes, the owner didn't like that we didn't want to stay, and she insisted we pay the full price of the booking, hence winning this 1-star review. Stayed here on 30/10/2022. 4pax costing 10000+ rupees. We were originally charged 300rs for one room + 200rs for shower per person. Shower went from very hot to very cold with a sensitive adjustment to the knob. Overall quite ok with great view and warm lounge area.
