Our stay at Mewa Khola Hill Resort was nothing short of spectacular. The breathtaking hilltop views provided a serene escape from the hustle and bustle, making it the perfect spot to relax and rejuvenate.

Did not stay here however went to the restaurant for food and let me tell you, this is by far the worst restaurant i have ever been to in my life, period. Took almost an hour to get breakfast which they complained saying they are starting from scratch which seems a bit peculiar since i thought breakfast food were usually somewhat ready. My mates had the traditional mutton and rice and they said their mutton wasn't even cooked properly. I paid 470 rupees for bloody eggs that werent even poached right, hash browns that arent even hash browns but are potato pickles, a half sausage drier than the sahara desert and the cheese toast that was just about as cold as the tips of pathivara temple. Perhaps its just me who had a bad time but i thought i would let everyone know what a terrible place this is to...

I visited for a night in early May. Taplejung is a very simple hill town and there is not much going on. Many pass through on the way to Pathibara Hill. If you are passing through then it is worth staying here. The rooms were fine and we were well looked after by Amrita and his staff. Food and drink were good and we had simple thakali. My only irritation was that at 0330 when a party of people were leaving to travel to the temple there was such a commotion with shouting and organising that everyone was woken up. I am surprised the staff didn’t do anything about this. WiFi was fine and this hotel has so much going for it, but just needs to up its game in...
