National Mount View Resort — Hotel in Shankharapur

It's a fun place if you go with a group of friends. That's the ONLY reason I'm rating 2 stars, instead of 1. Rooms are not that great. They turn off the water, even at night. Room doesn't smell very fresh. Booked over a week ago. The rooms weren't very clean but 1/4 of the rooms we got was especially bad, unclean, damp and icky. There was mould on the walls, No place to keep clothes, you couldn't even take a shower👎 They gave us a better, bigger room later on after A LOT (!!!) of complaining, but they charged us 1000 extra. Tried to convince to take just 500 extra for the room but nope. If you're not delivering the room you showed in picture while booking, you should'nt have charged so much more money for the sake of customer service. I did not find much time to explore the resort or even click proper pictures. I spent 2 hours for a training for students of Nami College. This place is a hidden gem and resembles to that of one of the most sought after resorts in Nagarkot. Terrace propertty with rooms and training halls at different levels, very good and huge dining or restaurant and equipped with all the amenities. The only down point is the road that leads to the resort. Furthermore, google needs to update the road that leads to this place as it is a very new road that google points to and it is not in good condition specially for small cars. The resort is located on the best place, near from the heart of Kathmandu has chilling weather conditions and mountain range view is absolutely stunning. The foods taste good and have reasonable menu but room conditions and service are not much pleasing. Maybe the resort has become old and needs maintenance and repairs, lots of it. You can have a beautiful mountain view from there but trust me you will have plenty of more quality resorts within the same price range on the way.
