Ah, this hotel is truly an experience! Not a good one, but certainly an experience. The ambience is nice, sure—but that’s about where the praise ends.

First, if you’re someone who needs to charge a laptop or an iPhone, be prepared for a thrilling treasure hunt. Finding a proper plug here is harder than finding a unicorn. Maybe they assume guests travel purely for relaxation, with no need for working devices.

Transportation? Let’s talk about that one particular driver who has redefined the concept of “punctuality.” If you’re in a rush, I suggest hiring a carrier pigeon—it might get you there faster.

Now, food. Room service exists, but a proper menu? That’s clearly a luxury this place refuses to indulge in. Ordering feels like a blindfolded gamble—what will you get today? Who knows! And no, you can’t contact the restaurant directly. Why should guests have such conveniences?

Toiletries? Available only on request. But here’s the catch—you have to request them daily, even if you’re staying a week. Maybe they think soap and shampoo magically replenish themselves?

And then there’s the management—a delightful bunch who seem to have stumbled into hotel operations by accident. If professionalism were a requirement, they clearly missed the memo.

Overall, I have a theory: all the people leaving good reviews must have stayed in a different section of the hotel, one where basic amenities actually exist. I had a fantastic experience at Hotel Nepalirika! The rooms were spotlessly clean and very well maintained, providing a cozy and peaceful atmosphere. The saloon was top-notch, offering excellent grooming services, and the swimming pool was clean and refreshing. The staff were extremely well-behaved, friendly, and always ready to help, which made my stay even more pleasant.

A special mention to the restaurant—the food was absolutely delicious, and the breakfast was truly unforgettable with a great variety and taste. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, quality service, and great food in one place!

I used to visit Itahari & Biratnagar 2/3 times in a month for business purposes and I’m always staying at Nepalrika hotel. I am a health conscious person.
