Hotel "Hof Van Twente" is situated right in the center of the village Hengevelde, next to the church and opposite the graveyard. Public parking is sometimes possible in front of the hotel, (if you are in luck), but opposite the hotel, to the left and to the right of the graveyard, sufficient parking spaces are available. The hotel is run by the well known Pierik family and includes also a good restaurant (see my review) The reception counter is almost always closed, so checking in and checking out is done at the bar in the restaurant. The staff is a bit aloof, but polite and efficient. The hotel rooms are located mostly on the first floor, some rooms are on ground level; you can only reach the rooms on the first floor by a staircase, so for people with a physical limitation, a ground floor room is the solution. Our room was small, but very clean with a excellent bed and air-conditioning, very welcome because it was a hot summer day. The bathroom is clean and efficient, only the porcelain of the toilet bowl was discolored by rust from the water pipe, but again, all bathroom equipment was squeaky clean. As the hotel is positioned in the three star bracket, there was no fridge and coffee/tea making facilities in the room, and limited space for hanging out clothes. I have come for the 2nd time to this hotel the 1st time i came here I had a great stay .same as before as soon as I got into the hotel I had a very good welcome. The room I had this time was just as good as the last time I was here and the food is fantastic I can not say any think bad about the hotel I would like to . I have to give this hotel 150% it's a no hotel in my book and well done to the starf...

~Mijn partner en ik hadden 4 nachten geboekt via Enjoy waar we nog nooit van gehoord hadden. Arrangement was nagenoeg all inclusive , drankjes ook van 17.00 tot 24.00.||Verder ontbijt lunch ( lunchpakket) en diner. Wij hadden ook E bikes gehuurd.||||Het begon al bij de zeer vriendelijke ontvangst door Sylvia waarna we direct van een lunch konden genieten. Daarna naar de kamer gebracht op de begane grond. ||||In de middag was er nog een extra bubbel als welkomdrankje. ||De volgende dag stonden de fietsen netjes klaar en werden qua zadel nog zo nodig bijgesteld.||||Het ontbijt was goed verzorgd evenals het driegangen diner, wat je zelf kon uitkiezen voor het gehele verblijf. Er werd doorlopend wijn of bier geschonken.||||In de avond was er altijd wel een activiteit, zoals live muziek, een Quiz en Bingo. De bingo werd verzorgd door de eigenaar Laurens Pierik en die deed dat geweldig. Als een cabaretier . Daarnaast bediende hij ook tijdens het diner en kwam zo mogelijk met de gasten een praatje maken.||||Al het personeel was zeer behulpzaam en bijzonder vriendelijk. ||||Wij reizen veel in binnen en buitenland maar deze gastvrijheid hadden wij nog niet meegemaakt.||||Petje af en wij komen zeker terug!||||Carl en...
