A Hidden Gem in the North – Can’t Wait to Go Back!
We were looking for a stargazing spot and found B&B Lauwersstate – a real hidden gem in the north. This was one of the best travel decisions we’ve made!
The B&B itself is set in a beautifully restored farmhouse with a high thatched roof. The place was spotless, recently renovated, and thoughtfully designed. Our room was cozy and fresh, and the bathroom looked brand new. The shared kitchen had everything we needed – a fridge, coffee maker, kettle, and plenty of space for us to enjoy our own food.
What really made our stay memorable was Ingrid, the owner. She personally greeted us at the parking lot, made us feel so welcome, and shared great local tips. When weather changed our stargazing plans, she even helped us book a time at a nearby alpaca farm, which was a highlight of our trip.
