Stayed here 4 nights during the week with my husband and two boys (5 and 1) in a 6-Person Comfort bungalow. Everything was as seen in photos on the website. The bungalow is filled with light (lots of windows), relatively new and modern, and had all the basic facilities you need, I particularly like the kitchen. The only downside was that we had number 34 and despite we were next to the man-made river which would've been a great view, we looked out to hills of sand from the construction of the remaining bungalows to be built. From early morning till early afternoon we have a view of several types of construction vehicles and man working very hard. Fortunately our boys found them quite entertaining. Anyhow I would've appreciated a heads up when we checked in. Both the swimming pools and the playroom are aimed for small children (deepest pool 1.4m) Perfect if you're with children, not if you're a couple. Plenty of nice things for couples to do in the surrounding still. Staff were friendly and helpful. I've included some pictures of the extra items for children we've requested with our booking. The baby bed with the bed sheet and blanket are all ok and clean with the mattress. The play pan is functional. The high chair is somewhat bad, there were two in our bungalow and both were a bit damaged (the table), for my one year old son, it's too big and the seat belts were pretty beaten, we had to use a seat n sack on the chair but my son still manages to stand on the chair. In the end I held him on my lap while feeding most of the time. The cheapest IKEA baby high chair would've been much safer already. My boys and I didn't have problems with the bed, blankets and pillows but my husband couldn't sleep for any of the nights and complained about the polyester. Didn't check for myself but perhaps a suggestion for Landal, offer some spare items of...
Read moreThis park appears relatively new and is nicely designed, but the choice of building materials could have been better—there are already visible signs of wear and damage. On the positive side, issues like broken power outlets and a malfunctioning refrigerator were addressed quickly and efficiently.
Unfortunately, the cleanliness left much to be desired. We found mold in the showerhead, thick layers of dust, and let’s just say it’s best not to look under the couch. That said, the houses themselves were well-equipped and spacious, with a layout that worked well.
Reception staff were welcoming, though the opening hours were a bit inconvenient—for example, you can’t collect pre-ordered bread before 9 a.m. One of the highlights is the direct access from the back of the park to the nearby nature reserve, where dogs can roam freely for the first mile, making it a great...
Read moreI visited the Landal bungalow park in October of 2015 with my 2 daughter. We had a wonderful time staying in this comfortable bungalow, allowing each of us a separate bedroom. The location is very central to all the places we wanted to visit. |This year I returned with my husband and stayed in the same park. We had a wonderful stay and my husband was impressed as well with the bungalow and the park itself.
