This was one of the highlights of our trip. It is so private and has such a nice view. If the weather is nice (as it was for us), the sun sets as you are making your dinner, and then you just relax and take in the experience. It is very well appointed, and the sheep are grazeing just outside your gate.

One note for this location: Once you drive near the spot, you need to be able to HIKE with your stuff to this particular spot. It is "glamping", but there is no elevator or bell service :-) I hear that other PurePod locations might be more accessible for people that would not be comfortable doing the uphill path. It was a nice grass path up through the pasture, so...

Daniel and I had a wonderful stay at Purepods, after 2 weeks of being on the road in a campervan, this stay was a beautiful treat. We were so pleased with the detailed instructions, the scenic path up to the place and then the bountiful platter for 2 (which was a lot of food even for the two of us) but all freshly sourced. What drove us here is the disconnection, tranquility and being in nature. We unfortunately had a cloudy night so as long as you know you can't control that you will be fine haha. The experience really was one in a million, unforgettable and a nice end to the trip. I would love to have a small place of my own like this in...

We loved our stay in the Pōhue PurePod. It's the best getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The tranquillity of the place is unbelievable grounding and healing. I was concerned about the wee hike as the region was hit with heavy rainfall for a few days, and a lot of areas in Canterbury experienced flooding. But the path was absolutely walkable, a few muddy sections, but nothing too bad, and we had the added bonus of a tiny waterfall...
