Fantaill Mill boutique accommodation is truly a gem located in a convenient and tranquil location in Russell. Our self contained studio was cozy and delightful with a comfy plush bed and luxury linen, good quality tea, coffee and toiletries. Not to mention a cute little balcony overlooking stunning views of the Orongo Bay, perfect for sipping morning tea/coffee or just simply relaxing with a glass of wine🍷😜 in the evening catching stunning sunsets😍. A special thumbs up to the lovely hostess Tracy who kindly offered to do dinner reservations for us at The Duke's. Highly recommend as an excellent getaway for couple of nights...

Our room at Fantail Mill had a stunning view over the harbour and mussel beds and was wonderful at sunset. The gardens were beautiful and the bed was comfortable. There is a well equipped kitchen down the slope but we tended to eat in our room or on the balcony. The wifi was good and there were washing machines and a drying line up the garden. The only drawbacks were the lack of storage for clothes and the mosquitoes which seemed to find their way in.||It is a short distance out of Russell and the road was slightly noisy but overall it was a good place to stay and we were made...
