Pacific Harbour Lodge — Hotel in Bay of Islands-Whangaroa Community

As soon as you enter Whangaroa Harbour you enter Paradise. The colours of the bay make you feel like being on a tropical island.||Lisa and her pets are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The whole accomodation is very clean and tasteful. We loved having all our meals out on the amazing deck, hearing the birds and cicada’s from the bush and looking out on the ocean. Such a special and peaceful place!||How amazing having Lisa’s partner Scott providing excellent fishing trips almost at the doorstep of the accomodation! He is going out of his way for all his clients every time we have gone out on his boat!||Lisa and Scott made us feel like family and we cannot think of a better spot for spending active family holidays. ||Incredible beaches are close by, bring the surfboards and snorkling gear along!||Thank you so much Lisa and Scott, we’ll be back soon...

We spent 5 nights over Matariki long weekend here. The room unit is nicely decorated, super tidy and clean. The small kitchen is ready for use with all necessary utensils. Lucky we brought lots of cooking ingredients for the stay! We towed our small boat here for chasing kingfish so it’s super convenient that the lodge provides trailer parking space! We read the guest information book and got to know behind the garage is fish cleaning table and a chest freezer for fish catch storage! Very handy for storing big fish and bait and salt ice etc. Lisa who works in the reception office is very nice and warm-hearted. Thanks a lot for your great room service. We will be back for next fishing mish holiday!...

We have been coming here for the last 3 years and have absolutely loved everything! Lisa is the most lovely lady and will often go above and beyond to ensure that her guests have the best holiday experience 😊|There are lovely outdoor tables and 2 bbq’s so the guests can soak in the most beautiful scenery.|Lisa adopts rescue dogs and the lodge is pet friendly! Everyone is usually very respectful of other guests but it’s so lovely to see the dogs 😊|I would recommend the lodge for a relaxing holiday and an awesome fishing spot just at the bottom of...
