Wow! What a find! Tania and Troy have created the perfect place to hang out in the Bay of Islands. We stayed here for 6 nights and could have easily stayed longer. The lodge is tranquil, so quiet and relaxing. The large room is spacious, spotless, with crisp white linen sheets and all the amenities you need. The garden is beautiful, a haven of flowers and birds. The pool is the perfect place for a lounge in the sun and dip. And the morning croissants on our door made the perfect brunch. Troy and Tania go out of their way to make you feel welcome, help you make the most of your stay with great recommendations and leave you in peace to enjoy your stay, the perfect hosts. Pateke Lodge is the best! |Every detail is outstanding! The scenery is beautiful. Everything is Clean and crisp. The bed and room are super clean . The Bed, Robes and towels are all fresh and super clean & eco friendly.|Tania & Troy are Superb hosts. They go to the moon to make everything perfect. Troy and Tania were amazing hosts and nothing was to much trouble... the grounds surrounding the B&B take your breath away..150 year old redwood trees alongside Japanese maples, tree ferns, magnolia and hibiscus, just to name a few.. you can relax by the pool or in the spa and emerse yourself in the beauty of nature.... nothing has been spared to ensure comfort and luxury in the rooms.. on our travels from Wellington to Kerikeri this is by far the best accommodation we have stayed in.. if time permitted we would loved to have stayed longer... thanks Tania and Troy for sharing your piece of...
