O naturel Vineyard Stay — Hotel in Cromwell Community

This was one of our favorite stays in our 24-day tour of New Zealand. It felt like sleeping in a garden. The living room is cozy for watching a bit of television, and having a washing machine available was a great advantage. It is close to wineries and restaurants but is secluded and quiet. The hosts left us a bottle of lovely wine which we drank later in the trip (we were always a bottle or two behind as we travelled.) The shower was wonderful and the little dining area was just right for breakfast. (Having some juice and yogurt in the fridge would have been welcome, but we knew that it was not included.) Sorry we didn't have time to visit the winery, but we had too many others...

Spent an amazing 2 nights in the loft studio. The room is a very tasteful new renovated old farm building situated between vineyard and olive grove 5 mins from the centre of charming Cromwell. It has modern amenities and it's vaulted ceilings and exposed beams ooze character and emanates a warm homely comfort. We stayed to ride the Dunstan bike trail and it was a perfect location to return to the cosiness of the wood fire and two replica Eames lounge chairs, and enjoyed a complimentary bottle of organic wine from the vineyard.

Location,|A bit out of the town, so you will do some driving to get to supermarkets and restaurants. but on a nice hill with a wonderful view with rabbits and quails as regular visitors. Lots of shade due to many trees. Easy to miss the entrance from the road.|Room|A big wow, large, comfortable, very nicely decorated extra clean, a big bath all amenities you could ask for.
