More of a camp for permanents really. Now also called Daniel's Christian Camp/Top 10. Clean abolution area's. Expensive @ $49 for a non-powered site, member price. No scenic views unless you walk out of camp, over a small hill down to the beach. The creek has a water hole but water is contaminated, unsuitable for swimming. Same creek empties into local beach. No fishing allowed at beach as it is a Marine Reserve. Dump station for campervan waste is blocked which we did not know & our waste did not go down well !(we reported this to owner & were told it was a bit blocked & a bit slow). Not wheelchair friendly.

We’ve stayed here every year for 4 years.. we love the Christian holiday program they have on for families/kids. We especially enjoy the upper creek every summer and extra activities for the kids. We also explore the nearby beaches/creeks. The bedding and kitchen facilities are clean and I appreciate the shared common rooms and toilets always clean.

So refreshing!!! It's been ages since my last camping trip, and this place has not let me down. We got the spot right by the river with an amazing view, and of course, we couldn't resist jumping in for a swim! Big shoutout to Sunny, who's super friendly and really made us feel welcome!!! Plus, you'll be just a few minutes away from the beach! 😌

So disappointed with the owner manager who finds it hard to understand you, workers and receptionist were very nice. first when I booked I talked to the owner manager to find out if I could change my dates not cancel just change it to a later date she said no then couldn't understand me was so frustrating then she was rude I talked to her nicely and tryed to get her to understand me then she yelled at me and said why do u always cancel I never ask to cancel she hung up on me. 2 days later I finally spoke to a worker who was very lovely and understood English she sorted it out for me. anyway I arrived with my partner and kids and I'm 6months pregnant I got given a map finally found my room checked in the Place was lovely only problem was I thought $400 for 2 nights was a bit dear for a small cabin and a tent and no toilet and shower I had to walk to a shared toilet pregnant through the night. Anyway first night my baby had been bitten and her face had puffed up and arms and we called ambulance they arrived and said we needed to go with them to take her to middle more hospital my daughter was covered in bites and me and my kids were also but not as bad as my baby. I still had 1 night stay but because we had to go to hospital we let the receptionist know she asked manager owner if I could get a refund her response was straight out no. I thought she would at least had some care to say I'm so sorry or at least give something back as we wernt able to stay the 1 night tjat we payed for our experience was not good and very up set that the manager owner didn't care. I was looking to book again for my son's bday but after all that experience I will never go back I'm glad we are home and safe and my daughter is on antibiotics and my kids are all...

We have just come back from 2 nights at this amazing place and My Kids are still very upset We left today as They have loved every moment of Their getaway. I want to Thank Sunny and the team. Sunny is absolutely amazing. She attended to every guest with such joy, enthusiasm and so much love. She wants to make sure each and everyone is happy and it's hard to find such person nowadays. She has made our stay so memorable. Every night the kids have had a movie night and free ice blocks and lollies. She greeted us with a huge smile everyday. She is so perfect for the hospitality industry. We will be back. The whole place was beautiful. The river needs a bit of a tidy up and the bookings should be made through the property instead of any booking places as they don't know about the property. We booked a cabin thinking it was self contained because we have young kids but unfortunately it wasn't hence why I prefer bookings to be made directly with the property because they will be able to put guests in rooms of their needs. I'm planning of taking my entire Family there for December and I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy nature and getaway from the busy life of the city and the suburbs. Thank you also to Robyn who was lovely in showing me the rooms today. Appreciated muchly and Sunny you make that place what it is with your warm heart thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our stay for my 17 year old daughters birthday weekend away so memorable. They miss the place so much..Thank you and appreciate the beautiful service provided.

Love from C5 and the kids that rang the bell and give out the ice blocks for the last...

It's been a really good week in Ōrere Point, and I'll be sad to leave, but leave I must as more adventures await.

This week, I have been staying at the Ōrere Point Top10 Holiday Park, which is also known as Daniel Christian Camp. Another awesome place to stay, great location, great facilities, incredibly hard working team (Staff).

The place was kept immaculate by the hard-working team. Whenever I saw them, they always had a smile and a friendly wave.

The caravan site was great, perfect size, close to the abulutions block (3 around camp) and kitchen (3) & bbq (2). The laundry (2) facilities were good, and there were numerous clotheslines around camp to hang out your washing.

There is a Spa & Sauna, while I can only speak in regards to the sauna, which was absolutely fantastic, others told me how much they enjoyed the spa, it certainly looked great.

The camp was in a great location in Ōrere Point, a river along the back of the camp, with two swimming holes, a minute walk to Ōrere Point General Store and 5 minutes to playground and Ōrere Point Beach. I never used the car once.

I really enjoyed walking around Ōrere Point, looking at all the houses, points of interest, walking along the Clifftop Reserve, along the beach to the Bays Road Boatramp and back thru the bush track to Howards Road. I also loved walking the kayak down to the beach and going out for a couple of hours. So beautiful, sitting out on the ocean, looking along the coastline.

I would definitely recommend this holiday park for you to stay in Ōrere Point, it's perfect, the staff are lovely, the location is perfect. I'm so glad I stayed, so...
