Perfect place to stay in Bluff to see the sites or to leave your vehicle while you visit Stewart Island. We stayed out the back in the carpark in our van... super cheap at like $35 for the 3 of us to use all the facilities inside. $5 a day to leave your car there securely. Kay and Atu are both legends and so helpful and friendly they make this place a little home away from home. The rooms inside are basic but clean and super cosy and only around $30 a night depending on which type of room you choose. Despite this, we decided not to stay...

Lex the owner was away during my visit, so Kay the manager was holding the fort, and doing a lovely job of it. I can recommend the bed in the King room for a restful nights sleep, and the blue cod and chips at the Chip shop down the road. There is an ATM inside at the very back of the local Four Square(supermarket) that accepts most major credit-cards, as cash is king in Bluff. Thanks again Kay, for your lovely care...
