We stayed here as a group of 6 (3 couples) for a winter weekend away and had a wonderful experience. Roger and Fluer were friendly, hospitable hosts, who despite not having lived in the area for long had an extensive knowledge of the people, the history, and the attractions in the Māniatoto region. The rooms were spacious, warm, and clean. There was plenty of room to lounge in the sun indoors with a book, take a spa (40 degrees - bliss), and take in some of the best views this country has to offer. We couldn’t recommend Inverlair Lodge more highly.

Had a lovely weekend at Inverlair. We were not biking through, just a treat for my hubbies 60th. Such a lovely place to stay. Beaut breakfast, awesome bar, clean, roomy, toasty fire, fantastic views - it had the lot. Also had a star gazing telescope which is in the perfect area. If you love stars, scenery, silence and solitude, this is the place to stay. Very friendly and helpful hosts, Fleur and Rodger.

Inverlair lodge is AMAZING. Your hosts are the very friendly and helpful, and they are the best people you will meet on the whole Rail trail. The lodge is located in the perfect spot for amazing views and quietness. This deserves more stars the the maximum 5 stars available.

We stayed at Inverlair lodge for one night as a family of four doing the Otago Rail Trail cycle. Our stay was outstanding from start to finish. We were greeting by our hosts and shown through the shared space and our rooms. The rooms were spotless, modern and incredibly comfortable. They had everything we needed. I had preordered a BBQ pack for our evening meal and we were delighted with the amazing meal cooked for us by Fleur and Roger. After dinner, we had a well needed soak in the spa with amazing views. Breakfast the next morning was also great- we opted for the included continental breakfast. Our hosts were wonderful. We would love to come back and stay for longer. Highly recommend. Our children are 11 and 12 and this was a great place...

Have just returned from a family "Womens Weekend" - exclusive use stay at Invelair Lodge. What an amazing place! Fleur & Roger are wonderful welcoming hosts. The location & scenery is just stunning. The bedrooms with their own ensuites & very comfortable beds are simply luxurious. |The living areas extensive. Then there was the spa. Relaxing in the spa in the evenings & looking up at the stars... well, you couldn't ask for a better end to the day. Breakfast was a wonderful continental with lots if variety & home-baked bread. Then there was the afternoon baking treat, a real surprise.|Just perfect for an extended family or large group of friends. Can't thank Fleur & Roger enough for our...

I stayed on 23 December on the Central Otago Rail Trail, and I gather that a lot of the guests are cyclists as it is extremely well set up for cyclists including a parking bay for ebikes complete with power outlets to recharge the bikes for the next day.

It is a lovely property and I was fortunate to have it all to myself. There is a spa pool, a welcome way to was away the aches from a day of steady climbing and tackling headwinds from Clyde (usually the wind is from the west but this time it was an easterly).

The hosts are attentive and accommodating. It is like a little oasis in the desert, just when you feel like you have had enough for one day, you reach Oturehua and it is just on...
