Hidden Gem in Oaklands B&B — Hotel in Napier

Paid NZ$ 147.61 for 1 night stay in Nov 2023 in Lisa's B & B after 18% discount from credit card. Booked through Agoda. Stayed in a separate room from the main house. It was a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. The room was clean, neat, tidy and very spacious. The bed was comfortable. The air-con was powerful and cold. The attached toilet and bathroom was clean and spacious too. The water pressure and drainage was good. They provided bath and face towels. The wifi was stable. Lisa was very polite and friendly. She is a great host. They provided simple breakfast such as bread, cereal, yoghurt, jam, etc. Car can be parked at the front porch area. There are some eateries about 2-3...

First time I've used a BnB, and it was great. Hidden Gem is quiet, secure and close the hockey turf, island park (which I highly recommend). The location is great, not to far, not to close to everything in the region.

Our room was perfect for our 3 night stay, the shower was lovely with an overhead rainshower head. Warm and comfortable. No parking problems unlike alot of motels.

Best of all Hidden Gem is pet friendly and with island park down the road, all k9 owners should check it out.
