Admiral Waters — Hotel in North Island

😊: A lovely setting, accommodation was exactly as pictured, refreshingly well presented. Beautiful location, on the estuary and just a short stroll along waters edge to the beach. Thoughtful additions, they supply a small continental breakfast, a hot plate is available for cooking as well as basic cooking utensils. Owners live onsite and were friendly and accessible. We would stay again.. 😢: Unfortunately we had an issue with hot water, as in there was none when I tried to shower in morning. This has impacted my score which would have been a 10. While my husband was able to resolve this (just a gas issue) , with John's assistance, it was both frustrating for me and an unfortunate end to our stay. John was extremely apologetic and did offer additional time to allow for a shower, but by the time I'd disrobed only to discover the problem, redressed and chased up the fix, I wasn't in a great mood unfortunately. I do wonder if this has happened to others as there were instructions in the manual to fix the problem. That said, it was a lovely stay, John was great, we would return. I would still recommend, just something to be aware of - check for hot water at the sink tap before trying to...
