Amity Motel — Hotel in North Island

We arrived to be welcomed by the lovely Ashley, he was very helpful, gave us great advice for dinner and the hotel room was spacious very clean, lots of towels, coffee and cocoa filled to the brim! The beds were nicely made, very comfortable. You could barely hear the highway from our room especially when you closed the windows. Heat pump was on at a comfortable level for us when we arrived being a rainy and cold day. The large spa bath was amazing after a 7 hour drive to town and the shower has great water pressure. The photos matched exactly what we got. The room we had, had a full kitchen including oven, stove top, microwave, cutlery and utensils as well as pots and pans etc. (Even a collander) It was perfect for our family. The team went above and beyond when ever we ask for something. We will be back later in the year for another visit to stratford and will 100% be booking...

We were on a business trip and stayed in Room 13 for one night. The room was modern and very clean, there was underfloor heating in the kitchen area and bathroom - the shower was AMAZING! We were delayed getting there for check in but received a lovely phone call from a lady (sorry my husband didn't remember your name) arranging how we could check in late and she also switched on lights and the heater for us, which we really appreciated. Nice quiet nights sleep, we did hear people leaving quite early but that is to be expected when people are going about their business especially during the week. This would definitely be our first choice when staying in Stratford again for either business...

This was a perfect motel for visiting the Mt. Taranaki/Stratford/ New Plymouth area. Very clean and spacious. Nice kitchen space with everything you need for quick breakfasts or lunches. Very comfortable beds (we had the queen/twin bed room).||The only issue that keeps me from a 5 star rating was the noise. The fridge seemed to make some noise and the highway at times during the night was very noisy. I had earplugs so not an issue for me, but my friend struggled a bit.||The staff was friendly and helpful. I asked to move rooms due to noise but was unable to.
