Blackwood Luxury Hideaway — Hotel in North Island

As a world traveller I have stayed in many places. This one I walked in at instantly felt at home and very happy. Not only was everything spic and span physically but also energetically. There was no sense of many people having been there. The space was clean and clear and spacious just for us. I will always remember this feeling. The decor was bright and light without creating any "imprints" on the mind. Even the soap was not your every day soap but of high standard. The sun shining in over the mountains in the morning created a sense of 'all is well'. There are excellent curtains should you prefer the dark. We stayed here on the way to the south island to be close to the ferry. There is the hum of the motorway way off in the background which did not bother us at all, and I am highly sensitive. The quality of this place, its energy and its setting in the rolling hills I cannot recommend this place high enough, and myself would always come back here when in the area. The Cottage 103 is the most perfect place to stay with more than everything you need! Close distance to townships to duck away to the supermarket.

My bridesmaids and I thoroughly enjoyed staying the day/night before the wedding and the morning of the wedding. We relaxed on the deck, enjoying the sunshine and looking out at the spectacular views. It was the most perfect place to unwind and relax the nerves before the big day! The space within the cottage was plentiful allowing heaps of room to run around and get ready. Our hair and makeup artists had plenty of room to do their magic too! Having two bathrooms was a bonus!!
