After reading the reviews of Earthbridge, I knew we’d found the perfect place for our little girl’s post first birthday wind-down: surrounded by nature, unobstructed view of the sky (because Twinkle Twinkle Little Star), and sourdough bread (her favourite). We got all of that and so much more! We stepped into a lovingly and consciously built space that we couldn’t help but to feel inspired. I especially loved the tile work, fireplace, library, stunning view from our bedroom window, and the cosy (and very clean) sheets! My wee family’s chuffed to bits that we’ve discovered this gem of a place that’s allowed us an experience that’s going to be unlocked as a core memory in the future. Also, I reckon we’ve just started a new family tradition here—the birthday sourdough! Our first off-grid stay has been relaxing, refreshing, motivating, and non-intimidating because Tim’s a fantastic, welcoming, and friendly host. Thanks for the awesome crash course in off-grid living, Tim. And not to forget Vivienne who’s super helpful and easy to communicate with. Cheers, Tim and team! We hope to see you again soon.

If you want a complete rest and recharge, this off-the-grid cottage nestled in the beautiful Maritoto valley is for you. We spent a fabulous three nights and two full days here. We had rain and sunshine and the place was perfect, whatever the weather. Everything about it is inspirational and infused with the love of nature and the environment. The newly cut track through the covenanted bush behind the cottage meant you didn't have to go far to get a back to nature experience. Tim is a wealth of knowledge on all things sustainable and environmentally friendly and it was a pleasure to share his creativity and hard work in the form of this cosy cottage. The organic muesli, sour dough bread and home grown produce provided more than enough breakfast for us. A tip for winter guests, bring your own dinner food - you won't want to go out to eat - you'll want to cosy up next to the fire and enjoy NO internet or cellphone coverage. It's a rare treat and one I'm going back to. Thanks for everything Tim and Vivian. LOVED Eearthbridge to bits.

Beautiful, quirky, eco friendly place with amazing views. Hosts are incredible and ensure your stay is comfortable. The home made bread and condiments made it very welcoming. Can't wait to stay there again

Tim very kindly hosted our expedition team from Opoutere School in late December 2019. We stayed the night in the cottage. Really lovely accommodation very peaceful with stunning scenery. Jake (the Dog) led us to an amazing private water hole - It was really cool! Up hidden in the trees was a rope swing looking out over the Maratoto Ranges. Tim was a very welcoming, generous and knowledgeable host. We would all definitely come back and stay again. Thank you so much. Lola and her...
