Fairway Cottages - Accommodation — Hotel in North Island

We had such a lovely stay here! A nice convenient location; just outside of town and close to the Skyline and other fun attractions. It's easy to find your way to and from everything you need to enjoy Rotorua. Lyn, the host, is lovely and very helpful. She is respectful of space but also lives on site so easy to get ahold of. She is responsive and communicative. Inside the cottage, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped plus the TV has Disney +, Netflix, and chrome cast to keep you entertained. Great for a family of 4 or two couples with two bedrooms on opposite sides of the cabin (we had 3 adults in our group and felt very good about the space overall)....

We booked Fairway Cottage for just one night, but as soon as we arrived, it felt like home. The cozy atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and thoughtful amenities made it so easy to settle in. We ended up extending our stay for another day because we simply didn’t want to leave! The location is also very convenient, with easy access to many of Rotorua's top attractions. Beautiful cabins next to the golf course. Nice views from the terrace. 15-20 mins drive from Rotorua city centre. Rooms clean with comfortable beds. Nice bathroom and equipped kitchen. Unfortunately, despite having such a beautiful terrace it felt like they could have done a lot more with it. We had no terrace table, only three chairs (in an accomodation that sleeps four). The biggest disadvantage is the proximity to the state highway which steals some of the locations magic. The hot pool was very nice (but also with sights on the highway). Price point was fair.
