Glow Worm Motel — Hotel in North Island

Location is close to caves adventures and hiking walks. Most of the functional areas (eg. Kitchen, shower) were neat, VERY CLEAN and it looks like they are newly renovated. Linens were smooth and super clean. Some furnitures and furnishings may be out dated however, to me the do not compromise any functionality of my stay. For the price offered i'd be more than happy. Due to the location set in nature there may be bugs here and there. A little bug spray will do, or if i can suggest, install fly screen to prevent mozzies at night. My wife and I and our two daughters spent 1 night at the Glowworm Motel. ||The accommodation was spacious and clean and consisted of 2 rooms with 2 single beds in each room, as well as a double bed in an open plan lounge and kitchen area. Positive to mention is the location close to the caves and a good equipped kitchen and a clean bathroom.

And sorry I don’t understand how the hotel got one 5 star feedback.

Rooms and carpets at filthy. The bed is old and mattress hard with all springs digging deep in your back.
