It was like a home from home, with full use of the downstairs. We had use of the kitchen to make our own breakfast or dinner etc. It was a fascinating Colonial Style House in the middle of farmland.The lounge/dining room was like a banqueting hall and the kitchen had lots of goodies to use. There wasn't an en-suite in our two rooms, but the third room had one, which another lady was using. It was fine though as the bathroom was just ours to use - it just meant walking down the hall. The double room had a smart TV and was a good size while the twin room was small and compact... cosy. You could walk around the grounds in among the sheep (they were really friendly !) Only 11 minutes from the town centre, it is a perfect location for exploring the river, shops and numerous art galleries in the area. We were made to feel very welcome by hosts Annette and Steve, who went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed but left us to enjoy our holiday.Three days passed too quickly, and we plan to return one day.
