Great place to unwind and get off the grid. There is no reception apart from the special reception table infront of the unpowered sites. $10 for an unpowered site, two people, $2 coins needed for shower for 5 minutes of hot water. Pros- Very clean bathroom and kitchen area, note there were only sinks. Very reasonable rates, powered sites were $16 I believe. Quiet and great view. Cons- You need cash and there aren't any shops near this campsite. No reception and the beach does take 15 minutes to get to as there is a river before it. Four wheel drive access to the beach. A beautiful, quiet and enjoyable stay.

Fantastic facilities, great clean toilets and showers, outdoor sinks for washing up. Easy honesty box system. People were there to clean in the evening and then again in the morning for our one night. Close to the beach had a very quiet evening, would recommend to anyone passing through.

It was a very clean, liveable area. The sound of birds on one side and the sound of waves on the other was a pleasant experience. The powered side was enclosed, so it blocked the wind. It was a comfortable experience. If we had had more time, we would have stayed longer. Thanks

Paid for two days, only stayed one night. I barely had room with my small tent and was surrounded by drunken idiots on dirt bikes going in and out of the camp most of the night then hollering and baa-ing till 2-4am. Sign says people are to quiet down after 10pm and no riding bikes in the camp but no one to enforce it. If the whole group wanted the camp they should just close it for others. This is the first holiday I've had in 3 years and mabey got 1 hour sleep at most. I won't be...

Agressive and intimidating locals watch through binoculars and take photos of the camp bin contents. Don't stay too long they'll have a secret meeting and run you out of town as they did us. Warden less than helpful and locals happy to post illegal no camping signs. Dysfunctional locals behaviour reflects poorly on some beautiful locals. Very poor standard of facilities . Many pull up to stay but don't. Nimby...
