Koru Lodge — Hotel in North Island

We went here with our family for our mum's birthday weekend. It is such a beautiful place to stay. They think of everything here. The views are just amazing and the location couldn't have been more perfect! We all enjoyed the jacuzzi and there is so much space for the kids to roam free in. We stayed in the room Whenua and the rest of our family was right next to us in the Ahi. Love how they were able to make it separate but feel connected in the outdoor spaces. The beds were super comfy and the sheets are so dreamy! Double shower with amazing water pressure and a smart TV which was a bonus for unwinding the little ones. They think of everything you will need for your stay to be stress-free. I would highly recommend this place!

My partner and I were blessed to stumble across this piece of paradise to getaway and spend the night relaxing and taking in the beautiful views and scenery. Such a peaceful place with the most stunning, homely, luxurious and warmest rooms to stay! Bethany the manager is awesome and goes out of her way to ensure you have all you need! Being able to rent out the whole apartment was awesome, making the most of the BBQ and private spa along with the incredible shower after being at the beach. The location of this place is perfect being right on the beach and a 11-15 minute drive to your local friendly Raglan which has everything you need! 10/10 would highly recommend this place to any couple or family being suitable for all 😁 look forward to our next stay...

We came to Koru Lodge during the lockdown and they welcomed us with open arms (all while observing social distancing ☺️). Bethany and Jaco were so compassionate and friendly and they really made us feel as though we were part of the family. Bethany had a newborn baby to care for and she still managed to make sure we had everything we needed. Although we couldn't actually be in each other's physical presence often, they used WhatsApp to make sure we had everything we needed and they took such great care of us. The other guests and the caretakers became a little bit of a family during the lockdown. Not only are they a wonderful caring group, the property is stunning!
