Simply amazing! We stayed here for New Years. Beautiful, cozy and clean rooms accompanied with outstanding views. The breakfast and warm welcome was great as well. This is a hidden champion amongst the retreats :)

Matt and Kris are amazing hosts and have a spectacular property at KBL. We only were able to stay 2 nights but wished it was a week! Highly recommended!!

Although Paradise is officially a place in the southern island of New-Zealand, this B&B is the Paradise of the Northern island.||Run by Lorraine & Bill, 2 very enthusiastic owners, for many many years. This was 1 of the best B&B’s we visited during our 4-weeks of travelling in New-Zealand.||Having breakfast at the big round table on the terrace, together with the other guests, while hearing the sounds of the waves on the beach nearby, is a superb way to start your day.||The breakfast is served with love by Lorraine (although Bill Is the butter master) & in the meanwhile Bill will inquire for your plans of the day & will try to inform you as much as he can about the different possibilities in the wide neighbourhood. Including some inside tips for the best beaches. When you return from your activities a very nice, clean room awaits you. Each room has it’s own small terrace in the very nice garden with superb views on the Ocean.||A place I really hope to be able to visit again in...

Perched on a hillside several hundred feet above the sea, from your room you can look down on the curve of a pristine beach with white sand. Day and night, the sound of the surf is your constant companion. That would be enough but then you are greeted by Lorraine and Bill, two of the loveliest people you’ll ever meet. They make you feel like you are part of the family - a loving family. We stayed in the stand-alone cottage above the house, a spacious, private place with everything you might possibly need. Lorraine’s welcoming fruit cake was much appreciated. Her breakfast is delicious, served in the main house while you look out at a stunning view. Both Lorraine and Bill are incredibly knowledgeable about everything in the area, and delighted to share their 30+ years of experience. Six minutes down the road is Luke’s café, the place that everyone goes to for coffee and pastries, lunch, and wood fired pizza (among other offerings) in the evening....
