We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay. The owners are delightful and generous with their time and attention. |What a gorgeous spot with a million-dollar view. The gardens of this property are amazing, even in the dry season. Monarch butterflies and birds and busy honey bees were plentiful. Such a peaceful spot. We were impressed by the history of this particular site which includes terraces and the restored Maori site full of information and beauty. |Our room (#3) was delightful with a completely clear view of the water from the expansive front windows. Everything was new and clean and comfy. Such attention to detail. 😀. When I mentioned my love of gardening, Christine supplied several gardening magazines AND a beautiful vase of Shasta daisies and big dahlias from her garden got us to enjoy. |Christine and Drew gave us a lovely tour of the property that the have extensively brought back to life. Marvelous. |We were given lots of helpful info about local attractions and eateries. We saw the water gardens (AMAZING!), and enjoyed a breakfast and a dinner at Waiomo Cafe. |If you are looking for peace, quiet, comfort, and beautiful surroundings, this is your spot!!|We HIGHLY...

The final straw for us was being TOLD not to have long showers as they are running low on water and will have to shut up shop if they run out... to me if you are running that low on water, buy some more. We were offered no apology for this or refund.
For $140 per night i would not...
Read moreThe location is fantastic, as are the hosts, Christine and Drew. The rooms are close to each other so it was nice to interact with the other guests in the evening. Christine is a great cook and the BBQ we had was first class. Breakfast was good too and her cakes went down so well with one of our group........she said it was top draw. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. It is in a beautiful part of New Zealand and we spent hours on the balcony admiring the view.|Disliked · Similar to other comments re bathroom down the corridor but we never met anyone else. It is not a shared bathroom...... it is just not in the room. Also the drive up from the road is narrow and exciting but again we didn't meet...
