Moanarua Beach Cottage — Hotel in North Island

Moanarua is a unique holiday expereince. If you are looking for a holiday where you want to relax or recharge in a fabulous location with amazing hosts. The manaakitanga and wairuatanga that Miria and Taroi have created makes this an experience rather than just a place to stay. The cottage is lovely, the bed really comfortable and extas like a beach umbrella, beach towels, body boards and sunloungers made our stay really comfortable. The breakfast is great, especially with Miria's hmemade jams and marmalade. We were also treated to stewed rhubarb and produce from their garden. Ir you are looking for a stay where you can just "breathe out" this is the place for you. We also did the sunset cruise with Taroi amd Miria which was very informative and great fun. We cannot recommend Moanarua...

Moanarua is a lovley cottage only a short stroll to gorgeous Ohope Beach (closer to the Port end of the beach). But what made our stay really wonderful was meeting Miria and Taroi - a delightful couple we felt such a connection with. Miria's home made pickles and jams were generously served at welcome drinks, which would have easily turned into an all-night catch up if we hadn't booked dinner reservations. Our best stay of our New Zealand holiday!|The little cottage had everything we needed including lovely breakfast treats, but the real highlight was Miria and Taroi who are such wonderful hosts.. |They welcomed us like family and shared their time generously with us.|There is so much to do. ..swimming, cycling, boat tours, walking, waterfalls, restaurants, fishing, spa pool, bbq.
