Lovely quiet non powered parking site next to a farm. Sandy the owner is an absolute sweetheart, within 2 mins it’s like being with a long lost friend. She has a little patch of grass in front of the house for parking, $25pn. The site and gardens around the house are beautifully kept and there is hot showers and toilets to use. If you wanna get out of town and somewhere lovely and quiet I highly recommend Sandys place.

Friendly little place with a quirky uniqueness. There are several caravans for rooms, each painted with their own personality. Kitchen is well-equipped, the showers in converted water tanks are great, and there is also a pool! I'd recommend to pretty much anyone, but especially those who fancy something a bit different, and are fed up with being camped on top of people and crammed into big campsites.

A quirky, idiosyncratic spot with a friendly host. Fairly quiet location, but not far from main highway. Old caravans made into accommodation units and limited camping spots in the garden. Well equipped kitchen unit, which could do with a deep clean. Shower cubicles made out of water tanks are nifty and functional. A relaxing stopover.

Sandy and Warwick are super friendly hosts stay here 2 times a year. With a group of friends and family. Owner easygoing and very helpful. It’s a small campsite but has many cosy places to chill and do your thing if you need space, as well as a communal kitchen and communal caravan if you want to meet other campers. Huge outside hot bathroom. It feels peaceful and homely and Sandy and Warwick are very quick to help with anything you might need. They are also very generous, always sharing.i just love this place. Close to shops, Tauranga and the mount even to Rotorua. Center of everything. Will be back for one love ❤️💛💚. vegetables from their garden :) Hopefully we’ll have time to visit again before leaving...

Sandy and Warwick are super friendly hosts–easygoing and very helpful. We called looking for a place to stay for one night and ended up staying 6 weeks while working in the area. Sandy is such a beautiful soul and was able to accommodate me last minute on my way from Tauranga. Got a nice spot by the house which was nice and level as well as getting a decent WiFi signal. the outdoor showers are great! at a set temperature so no messing around with any adjustments. I stayed here during the beginning of the rains and that didn't take away from the experience, if you don't mind a bit of rain 😊 Didn't use the kitchen or composting toilet but love the quirky feel of the place. would love to see this...
