Ohuka Place Homestay — Hotel in North Island

We stayed here for 1 night whilst visiting Whitianga. The place was lovely, very clean, large room, teas/coffee/fridge in the room. Private outdoor area with a fantastic view over the bay. Brilliant shower with all of the amenities.||||The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Their home was beautiful. We were offered to choose the time we would like breakfast, which consisted of cooked, fruits/yoghurt/cereal, toast and jams, tea and coffee. The hosts had breakfast with us and were very chatty which was lovely, very home from home.||||Easy access in and out, ample parking. The property is located out of the town in a cul de sac, it felt very safe. You can’t walk into town but it’s easy to park for free in town in the evening.||||I would highly recommend...

What a find! A warm relaxed welcome from our hosts, Sue and Harvey. The room was fabulously decorated, clean and new, with windows offering fabulous views. We arrived in the evening and were very tired. We slept well in the very comfortable bed and had a fabulous breakfast the following morning -cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, a cooked breakfast of scrambled egg, bacon, tomato and potato, toast and marmalade. Very friendly and helpful hosts, that show the national flag for every guest upon arrival. Since we lost our towels throughout our journey, they borrowed us some to go to the great nearby beaches.
