Panorama Motor Inn — Hotel in North Island

I spent a night here recently in one of the cabins and it was perfect for a single traveler or just a couple with the room being compact but lots of room as well, not to mention a great view of the mountains over yonder, the room was clean and tidy smelt fresh and a pretty decent good bed/linen, bathroom facilities were good as well, I also went for dinner at the restaurant on site, the front of house staff were excellent, very friendly easy going and nothing was a problem to do. I ordered the Sirloin Steak meal and it was delicious and way bigger than I thought it would be and had to ask for the other half of it to be put in a takeaway bag and I'd have it for a sandwich later in the evening, it was that big couldn't eat it all and as a meat eater very rare for me to not eat a full steak. This is a place I will definitely stop stay and eat again. Well done to all staff it...

the panorama motor inn welcomed us with friendly smiles and greetings. the check-in procedure was easy and a map clearly showed where our accommodation was, and an explanation on where best to park cars. we treated ourselves to a meal at the restaurant, and this meal was wonderful and delicious. our rooms were adequate, a big effort from the owners to install new kitchen and bathrooms appreciated. the beds were comfortable and the wall heating panels a great surprise as they certainly kept the room warm. the hot water was a bit tepid, but overall the accommodation was excellent, the staff friendly. would I stay...

Had a pleasant time eating at the Panorama motor inn restaurant. The staff were very polite, welcoming and efficient. Although located in an older building, the views of the town and landscape were enchanting and added to the ambience of the experience created by the restaurant. The food was fresh and reminded me of a home cooked meal done elegantly. The meals provided good portion sizes and had great depth of flavour using simple ingredients well. The desserts were flavourful and not overly sweet. The interior of the restaurant could use a revamp as it is dated and doesn’t match the experience provided...
