Podium Lodge — Hotel in North Island

We booked into Podium Lodge initially for two nights, We had a large family group of 3 x couples, a pet dog & parents in a campervan. Unfortunately one of our group was admitted to Hamilton hospital unexepectedly before we had even booked in. The staff went out of their way to help us & regularly checked in with us for updates on how our family member was doing. They kept the rooms pencilled in for us - ensuring that we didn't have to change rooms at any stage & in one case charged us at a lower rate than what they could have. They even left flowers & mandarins in our rooms - ontop of this the actual accommodation was fantastic with lovely clean, quiet rooms & very comfortable beds. All the staff were exceptional to deal with - even down to the cleaners who were awesome & took a personal interest in our welfare. We would all highly recommend the Podium Lodge as the only place to stay...

Firstly let me acknowledge the owner Andy what an exceptional young man you are. Let me also acknowledge Ben the Manager of Podium Lodge you are kind friendly and compassionate we thank you for all that you have done. Andy and Ben you should be very proud of yourselves and I am sure your parents are. Podium Lodge has the most welcoming feeling and any request is not a problem the rooms are immaculate and so clean the grounds are perfect. To the staff you are all amazing to very friendly and accommodating so thank you too.

I would say to anyone thinking of booking the lodge do so now!!! as it is an absolute delight to stay there, they have an incredible well equipped shared kitchen great for family to come together. The pool and spa pool are definitely an added bonus.

I stayed here for one night in August 2023. The lodge is about a ten-minute drive from Hamilton airport, and a couple of minutes into Cambridge. It would probably be a half-hour walk. The lodge is located on a quiet rural road, just off one of the main roads into Cambridge. The setting is very peaceful.||The room was very large with a kitchenette and separate bathroom. It would be ideal for a long stay as it has all the conveniences. In the complex there's a room with a large-screen TV and kitchenette and vending machines (a social area where people can mix), a laundry, charging point for electric vehicles, and plenty of carparking.||I chose Podium Lodge given its closeness to Hamilton airport and would certainly...
