Love coming here. Exceptionally cheap, even if you want a powered site. Always pays to book in early to make sure you get you favourite site of returning again. Kids playground, hit showers, toilets and free bbq to use plus a fire pit to roast marshmallows on. Quite a short drive from Palmerston North. Stunning scenery , no noise except for the birds and the stream , which is lovely and clear and great for swimming. Lovely big camping area with loads of choice of where to camp. Peace, relax, serenity and disconnected. You can get a strong shot of calmness and mind fullness. Plus the normal stuff of all facilities that is outstanding, clean and well maintained! Lots of BBQs, Toilets, showers and power points ( you need to book the thought ). It was quite busy over the Christmas and New Year holidays.
