Tree Tops is a spectacular retreat resort. It is off the beaten path near Rotorua, New Zealand. Your stay includes five course dinners and delicious breakfasts, individually prepared by a chef. If you are a hunter, fisherman, hiker, or someone looking for relaxation, this is the place for you. It is pricy, so I suggest only a two - or three night stay. My grandson went fishing, and they served his trout during the cocktail hour. Excellent service. There is no swimming pool, so don't think of this as your typical resort.....it is simply a little piece of heaven set on a stunning farm in rural New Zealand. This lodge was the most amazing stop on our 2 week trip to New Zealand. The estate is vast and beautiful. The estate manager took us on an early morning drive to tour the property and see the elk, deer, water buffalo, rams, and duck. The lodge and bungalows are beautifully designed and decorated. It is a very comfortable and serene environment. Our massages at the on-site spa were among the best we've had in our travels around the world.
