Tuakau Bridge Motorhome Park & Luxury Cabins — Hotel in North Island

Booked luxury cabin at motorhome park. Arrived at the gate only to be told we had to drive back to the town ship to pick up the key from the hotel. Not cool especially after a 7 hour drive there. Secondly, I had a shower then it flooded then entire bathroom and it started to go into the room and bedroom. During this time I looked up in the bathroom and noticed big cobwebs. Finally made contact with staff and caretaker guy came in to inspect. During the inspection we identified mold on the floors. Wifi couldnt connect as it was too far from the reception. Big let down because I was wanting to do some work. No tea towel or dish cloth. Paid $200 plus $100 for bond. I had a very small campervan. This small park would be better suited to people with large vans who use their own bathrooms and kitchens. On one side, a glorious view of the river, with easy access if you have brought a boat or kayak. On the other side, a busy road (though it didn't keep me awake). Very limited facilities. There is no kitchen. There is a room labelled "Laundry" which leads to two rooms, one with a washer and drier, and one with a toilet, shower and wash basin. As there were only two small vans, this wasn't in practice a problem. Smoking is allowed...

Dirty bathroom and washing machine, never cleaned. Incompetent staff who tell you you can stay 90 days Needed that time as was on working holiday and needed secure accommodation for 3 months. Secured job based on that 90 period. They then tell us after 2 weeks you are only allowed to stay 2 weeks. No apology. Staff very rude. Worst camp I have ever stayed at. ...
