Beauregard Cottages — Hotel in Rodney

We stayed here one night while visiting the Northland. Matakana is a small and super cute town, with great options for food and a great beach for surfing, so we decided to stop by. The cottages are super cute - spacious, with a kitchen/living room, bathroom and bedroom - the main house is just in the back, but space between the cottages and to the house itself guarantees privacy. I loved that the bathroom had everything we needed (big bottles of shampoo and body soap) and Laurette, the host, had provided items for breakfast very nicely prepared in our fridge (toast, butter, jam, milk). When I first checked the website, I was a bit concerned about not being able to reserve and make a payment via website, which is often the case. I can only recommend a stay at Beauregard Cottages. We stayed there twice and had an amazing time. The location of the cottage is fantastic with numerous spectacular walks at your door steps. The cottages are beautiful and with everything you need. It is modern and spacious both inside and outside. It has stunning views over the outside scenery. It is also very stylish thanks to the wonderful taste of Laurette, the owner. Laurette is amazing and super friendly. She will make sure you ll feel like home and answer any question you may have. Thank you to Laurette!! I called to ask if there was availability on any of the cottages as I needed a night to stay during the weekend with my partner and honestly I was blown away on arrival. Laurette was awesome over the phone giving me details and the communication!

The Cottages are perfect for couples. I pulled the plug and decided to stay another night as I felt I needed too, as the place was just amazing!!
