Pukeatua Farmstay — Hotel in Rodney

Newly renovated place with a double bed, and a sofa and another bed in the sitting room. The bathroom is also new and renovated. We loved the outdoor area with chairs and a table overlooking the lovely Pukeatua mountain. ||We have been welcomed by the owners who showed us around the place and got us introduced to the animals. They have amazing intelligent chicken, horse, and the alpacas. ||My kids enjoyed their time and the sleep quality was good. They only have Netflix on the television which was more than enough for our kids. ||The kids went looking for the eggs in the morning and they had some for breakfast. ||Parking is available but take care there is no sign of the name of the place on the entrance so just follow the location...

The place is spotlessly clean and spatious with two rooms. And the view is stunning! Tatjana and Ingo are wonderful hosts. This is the perfect place for those who like to talk to locals. We were invited to sit and chat with the family after dinner. Travelled from Auckland (approx. 40 mins away) to escape the City for a couple of days. Loved spending time with the Farmstay family and so many animals to visit & feed while enjoying the fresh air, knowing there was a warm cosy room to return to.
