What can you say! We stayed here twice during our Abel tasman tramp and it was the best spot by far. Beautiful beach, great rocks and rock pools at either end. Golden sand and a beautiful place to swim and camp. We loved it. Small campsite, 6 tents, and we had it to ourselves both nights. Visit here! Like if helpful!

Stayed here on 7th March 2008, had the campsite to myself. definitely one of the best campsites I have ever stayed at. The beach is amazing to swim in and I would lie in my tent looking out towards the sea.

Sleep right next to the beach. Away from the crowds with only 10 camp spots. You might just meet a seal when you go for a swim.

Only 6 camps and 12 people allowed! My favorite camp site of The Abel Tasman. After the day hikers are gone around 6pm, no one else comes to the beach. You will practically have it to your self. Has a flushing toilet, but no drinkable water (only 1 tap and should be treated before drinking). Make sure to fill up...

While I wasn't impressed by the walk itself (it's rather a highway than a tramping track), the campsite is nestled in a lovely bay and highly recommended. Much smaller and cozier than the campgrounds north and south of it. Make sure not to miss...
