Beautiful little spot to stop the night on the way to Picton. Winter at the moment, and quite windy. The road in and out was a little hairy with fresh land slips from recent rain and high winds, although crews seems to be working well to keep them open. Stunning views from here vutvalso on the drive to Picton. 🧜🏼‍♀️ $10 per human per night.

Location is cute. Small and first time since queenstown I've been able to sit outside the car without being engulfed by a flurry of sandflies. Nice views and the water is very clear and toilets were just cleaned by a warden that came to check. Seems to be looked after.

Great campsite. The BEST place to spend your first night/next day from the ferry. One of my favourites. Get there early to get a good spot. If you don’t have cash you have to pay at the nearby camps office 15 minutes walk along the water line or two minute drive.
