Boundary Creek Campsite — Hotel in South Island

One of the best campsite we’ve been to so far. Amazing views of lake Wanaka and mountains around. Book online and you get to go to a quieter spot. This is a really nice campsite set up by the Department of conservation. The toilet facilities are to well-maintained toilets with running water sinks. Lovely spot, but note campsite is currently closed for toilet upgrades as per note on DOC's website. Day use is permitted but we had to shimmy open a temporary gate which is blocking the entrance in order to drive down. Car was fine left overnight while we explored Albert Burn on the other side...
