As a young fella growing up, the big highlight of the year was the annual holiday at Dansey Pass Holiday Camp. My brother mother and myself loaded into the car to be taken to Danseys as it was usually called by father who unfortunately couldn’t stay as his job meant he had to return to Timaru. Been meaning to visit here for a while now. We decided on a spontaneous camping trip for the night as we are living a short drive away. I booked tent site 13 which I believe is defiantly the best spot if you want to be a little out the way. It is literally on the river front, the best view and quite secluded. New owners, been there a month when we went this weekend. Honest review- there's a bit of work required to get it back to it's potential.
