Esplanade Motels — Hotel in South Island

Loved our stay at Esplanade Motels over the weekend. We arrived mid afternoon and were greeted by Gillian who gave us a great price for our family (1 Adult, 3 boys). We sorted payment and headed around to Unit 5.

Wow, we were so happy. The kids were beside themselves, with beds for all, it was first in first served for the best room and bed. We all found our places and thoroughly enjoyed the two televisions, the 'fire' effect heater, and the modern kitchen and bathroom.

Nice and warm overnight, and packed up fine early in the morning!

The motel manager was very courteous, honest and helpful. Very please with her customer service and delightful meeting her again. As for the room, it was very clean and tidy. Probably my concern was the toilet seat as it was wobbly and it could tilt wee bit if you move slightly. I believe it needs fixing otherwise it could result in health and safety issue. Lovely customer service with my late check in, room was easy to find, very inviting with the heat already on. Quiet spacious room, with a very comfortable bed. We always have large trailers on our vehicles and call ahead to check about parking, as they had said loads of room to park and turn. Will definitely be back when we have to...
