I had the absolute pleasure of staying at French Fields for three nights while in the area photographing weddings, and it was nothing short of magical. I love a touch of luxury when traveling for work, and this villa exceeded all expectations.
The moment I entered the driveway, I felt like I had been transported to the heart of Provence, France. The villa is surrounded by pristine, beautifully maintained gardens, with fragrant lavender fields that create the most serene and picturesque setting. Waking up each morning and enjoying my coffee on the sun-drenched balcony, overlooking the lush greenery, was an absolute dream.
Every little detail in the villa has been thoughtfully curated to create a luxurious and authentic French experience. From the welcome basket filled with delicious local produce and treats to the elegant furnishings, everything felt so special. The villa had everything you could possibly need—a well-equipped kitchenette, a gorgeously styled interior, and the most comfortable bed that made it nearly impossible to leave.
As a photographer, I couldn’t help but notice how perfect this location would be for pre-wedding portraits or a honeymoon retreat. It offers a sense of peace and beauty that’s hard to find, making it ideal for capturing timeless memories or simply unwinding in style.
The hosts, Natashya and Jonathan, were incredible. They were warm, welcoming, and attentive while respecting my privacy. Their hospitality truly made the stay even more enjoyable.

Read moreWhat a beautiful property! The room is spotlessly clean and well appointed with a magnificent view of the lavender fields. French Fields is close to town (less than 10min to city centre)but it seems like you are far out in the country. Very close to attractions such as the aviation centre and many vineyards.
The room has all mod cons of tv with satellite freeview, dishwasher, coffee maker and milk frother, microwave, etc. There is a beautiful deep clawbath with a view and a shower that has a very desent shower head and water flow.
We immensely enjoyed the fresh bread, croissants and jams and huge bowl of fresh fruit provided along with complementary milk, orange juice and bottle of wine.
The hosts Jonathan and Natashya were wonderful and provided lots of great suggestions of what to do when in the area.

Read moreBeautiful gardens, the pictures don't do it justice. The room was nicely decorated, with a homey feel, fastidiously clean, and well equipped (fridge, microwave, toaster, dishwasher). There was a bath with a view over the lavender fields, in addition to the shower etc. and a tv (with free view satellite). There's also Wi-Fi, with around 30Mbps speed - which is enough for most things. You need a car to get to town, but it's a short drive. No kids are allowed, so it's nice and quiet. Not wheelchair accessible. I'll be...
