Jacks Retreat — Hotel in South Island

I want to be best friends with Rebecca and live at Jacks Retreat forever! This place is absolutely incredible!! From the breathtaking views to the wonderful service, I cannot fault my experience staying here. It was perfect! My partner and I eloped here just a few weeks ago and it was nothing short of magical ✨ The little elopement garden has the most perfect water and mountain views to say your I do's. There's also so many spots close by to get some lovely photos afterwards. Rebecca made sure we had a perfect stay and was even so kind to let my partner get ready in the main house so we could do a first look together. Rebecca's cooking is also fantastic and we looked forward to breakfast each morning because it was so delicious!! I honestly cannot wait to stay here again! Photos simply do not do this...

We had such a wonderful stay at Jack’s Retreat! Rebecca is an incredibly kind and thoughtful host, and her warm communication made everything so easy. She went out of her way to make our trip special, which we truly appreciated. Jack’s Retreat itself is stunning – beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, and so peaceful. The location in Jack’s Point is absolutely perfect if you’re looking to relax and enjoy the beauty of Queenstown away from the hustle and bustle, while also being just a short drive to The Remarkables for skiing. Waking up to those mountain views each morning felt magical.

We had the most magical stay at Jack's Retreat this winter. We were absolutely blessed with our wonderful host Rebecca, with the most lush and well equipped accommodation one can ask for, and a post-card perfect view. The most amazing part was just how quiet and serene it was. Sitting out the back with a fire burning and watching the beautiful water in absolute silence was such a highlight. The close proximity to local shops meant we good grab a wonderful dinner without going all the way into town, and enjoy it together in the cosy warmth of the retreat.

Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area- it was absolutely the highlight of our trip to Queenstown. I cannot wait to be back and to be able to...
