Kairaki Beach Motor Camp — Hotel in South Island

Nice greeting on unplanned arrival. But sadly It was an ok camp ground as far as facilities~No lounge or TV room, just a kitchen in a box. My main gripe is I went to have a shower before 10am (check out time) this morning & was told by cleaner I cldnt she was cleaning as she pointed at the "cleaning in progress" sign & wld be another 30 minutes (this was 9.25am) she said there were lots more showers down by entrance of camp! We were parked 25 mtrs from the site we had paid for & where the wee kitchen etc was. On a more positive note lovely gardens outside the long termers sites, they took great pride,...

Wouldn't stay here again if I had to. The lady owner bronwyn think that was her name was so incredibly rude and treated me like scum. Only bonus was when i left. Couldnt wait and was told never to come back. Lady i wouldnt come back if you paid me. The staff that were looking after the place while this lady was on holiday were far nicer and so...

Fully recommend this lovely kept campground! The facilities are always kept clean...the lady at reception is super friendly and helpful! Probably one of the quietest campgrounds I've stayed in with this many campers. Fantastic bike track into the Township. Easy access to the beach Will definitely...
